Description

In this course the components of IMS treated. The DC part is described. This will include the scheduling of transactions and data flow during a transaction covered. Special attention will be given to the message queue. Also, the logging mechanism is treated. Part of the DB, the database structure and data base several organizations discussed. It also deals extensively with data integrity. Furthermore, the establishment of the IMS address spaces are discussed and a number of IMS master terminal commands.
